A very special night of country music, hosted by Megan Moroney and Jamey Johnson, is coming to Birmingham, AL on January 15. The award-winning artists will come together to deliver a one-night-only music event at The Fennec that aims to blend powerful performances with a shared mission to give back.
The event is being called “A Private Evening with ‘MOJO,’” which combines the two artists’ last names and signifies the bond of their friendship. Those who attend can expect an intimate, heartfelt moment on stage featuring the storytelling that both artists are known for.
The night will support two meaningful causes in an effort to make a positive impact on the artist’s communities: Jamey and Brittney Johnson’s Give It Away Foundation, which supports charities close to their hearts and those that help communities during times of crisis and The Megan Moroney Foundation, works to combat bullying and support mental-health initiatives.
Together, the artists are using their platforms to raise awareness and funds for causes that matter to both them and to their fans.

Johnson and Moroney have a history of collaborating. In the past, the fellow acts have shared stages, including Johnson’s birthday show at the Grand Ole Opry and most recently on The Hallmark Channel’s “A Grand Ole Opry Christmas Movie.” Plus, the “Am I Okay?” singer joined Johnson on his What A View Tour in 2022.
The Alabama native also played a pivotal role in Megan Moroney’s career back in 2023 when he and Deana Carter proudly invited her to make her Grand Ole Opry debut, showing his early belief in her talent.

The MOJO show will come just a few months before the songstress is set to embark on her massive headlining arena tour, named after her upcoming album, Cloud 9. She will launch the trek on May 29 in Columbus, OH and continue through October 1, playing some of her biggest venues to date along the way.
Jamey Johnson has a slew of his own tour dates in the works for 2026, with shows scheduled to take place across Kentucky, California, Florida, Ohio and more.
